Stamp and Scrapbook Day

These were the cards and very pretty paper snowflake that we made we did at last week's Stamp and Scrapbook Day.

The first, a suspension card as cased from here http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/suspensioncard.php

The second, gold glitter applied to thin strips of double sided tape makes a festive border for this card.

Our snowflake is made of 6-6" squares of double sided paper. It could be made smaller for tree decorations. Here are some directions:

Scrapbook Club

We sure are having fun with our Scrapbook Club. Each month you go home with several 2 page layouts ready for photos. What a great way to catch up on some scrapbooking.

This is a layout we did a couple of months ago.

The inspiraton for this layout was one that Barb Dean did. Here is a link to her blog. http://www.barbdean.typepad.com/

Tab Punch Apple

A cute apple core done by using the tab punch and adding parts of red for the top and bottom of apple core. Seeds are added using marker.

My thought for a cool rainy day.

Its a beautiful Monday

Its a beautiful Monday. The sun is shining. Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Here is a scrapbook page using mitred corners. Its easiest to lay the 2 strips of patterned paper right sides together and make 1 cut rather than doing each one separately.

We used 2 square punches to make the photo corners. Punch out the smaller square from a scrap of paper. Using the larger scrap, punch the larger square making sure the smaller square hole is in the middle of the large square punch. Cut the larger square with the small square hole in half diagonally to form a photo corner. We use markers to imitate the paper on the photo mats.

Busy Stamping Day

Today is a busy stamping day. Eliz and I went to our bi weekly stamp day at Gerrie's and I have my Scapbook Page Class at my house tonight. Lots of work being done with those stamping supplies. I don't want to spoil tonight's surprise so here is a layout I did some time ago.
